Beautiful and brainy Cady Briggs is an antiques expert who works as an occasional consultant for Mack Easton's company Lost and Found, a business which specializes in recovering lost or stolen artifacts. Although Cady has never met Mack, she is seduced by the sound of his voice and soon begins to fantasize about this mystery man. When a museum theft gives her the chance to finally meet Mack in person, she is NOT disappointed. Still, Mack's business is a bit on the shady side and Cady is soon put in a dangerous situation which might be tied not only to the museum theft but also to the seemingly accidental death of Cady's beloved Aunt Vesta.
